Welsh Government
In addition to the data supplied by Oceanwise, Welsh Government have identified three additional anchorage areas based on local knowledge and discussions with the ports and shipping sector:
- An area in St Brides Bay, used by vessels waiting to enter Milford Haven.
- An area off Point Lynas, used by vessels waiting to enter the Port of Liverpool.
- A small circular area 2 nautical miles north of Raynes Jetty, Llanddulas, used by vessels waiting to berth at the jetty.
