Identification

Title
(additional) Anchorage Areas
Abstract

In addition to the data supplied by Oceanwise, Welsh Government have identified three additional anchorage areas based on local knowledge and discussions with the ports and shipping sector:

  • An area in St Brides Bay, used by vessels waiting to enter Milford Haven.
  • An area off Point Lynas, used by vessels waiting to enter the Port of Liverpool.
  • A small circular area 2 nautical miles north of Raynes Jetty, Llanddulas, used by vessels waiting to berth at the jetty.
