The CAMS Abstraction Management Strategy Reference Boundaries are an external reference dataset giving an indication of where technical assessments have been undertaken. CAMS helps to look at the balance between society, the economy and the environment. The technical assessment helps identify where water may be available for future use but also where water resource demands may be impacting the water balance. The CAMS boundaries should be used on a national scale to show the geographical distribution of CAMS and are not suitable for detailed technical assessments.
