OMR 2021 - Postcodes grouped by status (30Mbps+ White Black Grey or Under Review)
Welsh Government
Postcodes classified by the status of the premises in the postcode area. A postcode is White if any White premises are present, Under Review if any Under Review premises are present, Black if all premises in the postcode are classified Black, or Grey if all premises are Grey or there is a mixture of Grey and Black. White - Premises where no qualifying NGA network infrastructure (i.e. capable of delivering download speeds of at least 30 Mbps) exists and none is likely to be built within three years. Black - premises with two or more qualifying NGA infrastructures (i.e. capable of delivering download speeds of at least 30 Mbps) from different suppliers being available or will be deployed in the coming three years. Grey - a single qualifying NGA infrastructure from a single supplier is available or is to be deployed within the coming three years. Under Review - premises where suppliers have reported planned commercial broadband coverage, but where those plans have been judged through the OMR as potentially being at risk of not being completed.
