Marine Mammals - Minke Whales
Welsh Government
The number of individuals of Minke Whale sighted per unit time of observation, resolved into 1/4 International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) rectangles (15' latitude x 30' longitude). The Joint Cetacean Database (JCD) comprises of the most comprehensive information on the distribution of cetaceans in north-west European waters and this data contains the most complete quantitative description of Minke Whale dispersion in this region.
