- Wales: Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Capital Investment 2025-26
- Abstract
In March 2025, the the Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs agreed the schemes which would make up the 2025-26 Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Programme. These schemes led by Local Authorities and Natural Resources Wales aim to reduce the risk from flooding and/or coastal erosion to homes across Wales.

This map shows the approximate locations of the schemes where funding has been allocated for the 2025-26 financial year.
The information contained within this map has been provided by the Local Authorities and NRW who are responsible for delivering these schemes. Whilst this funding has been allocated for these schemes, it is for the relevant Risk Management Authority (Local Authorities and Natural Resources Wales) to progress and deliver these scheme. Funding to progress to construction is subject to completion and agreement of an appropriate business case and obtaining relevant permissions and consents.
Costs remain estimates until the work has been tendered.
