Title
Mapping for Strategic Resource Areas - Aquaculture Seaweed Suspended Resource
Abstract

These layers show developing resource area mapping to inform the identification of potential Strategic Resource Areas (SRAs). Wider resource areas have been refined to reflect technical constraints (e.g. water depth) and hard constraints (factors or activities, such as existing infrastructure, which would realistically prevent development). The map layers are a work in progress. Layers represent baseline mapping, which will be further refined to inform identification of potential SRAs, and should not be considered as draft SRAs at this stage. Welsh Government Marine Planning will formally consult on any proposed SRA. These map layers allow you to understand progress, the data that has been used, and how the developing layers relate to other map layers showing natural resource or human activity.
