Title
Floating Offshore Wind Hard Constraints
Abstract

These layers represent hard constraints on the development of the offshore floating wind energy resource within the Welsh National Marine Plan area. A hard constraint refers to a spatial consideration (such as existing activities or infrastructure) that effectively prevents new development for a specific sector. These hard constraints layers were used as part of work to refine the Floating Wind Key Resource Area, so that any areas covered by hard constraints were excluded from the Offshore Floating Wind Refined Resource Area.
