Glyfinir Cymru / Curlew Wales is a joint working group between organisations that are committed to Curlew recovery in Wales, including representatives from the government, conservation, farming, and game management sectors.   Some of the original hand drawn maps were passed to British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) to draw, then passed to NRW to finalise. The others were sent to NRW to check. If they were correct they were uploaded to the Gylfinir Cymru / Curlew Wales web site. If they were incorrect, they were sent back to the originator.   The final ICA GIS layer is an amalgamation of all the separate area boundaries provided by Gylfinir Cymru / Curlew Wales project partners into one overall layer. The boundaries originally provided are a mixture of broadly hand-digitised ones, with others being carefully snapped to administrative boundaries / protected sites, so users should be aware that not all data has been captured to the same standard or resolution / scale.  Attribution statement  Contains Natural Resources Wales information © Natural Resources Wales and Database Right.
