It does not in any way indicate any appropriateness of potential sector activity within these areas. The tidal range RA is based on a maximum depth of 25 m below chart datum and a mean spring tidal range of greater than 6 m. The tidal range RA was defined using tidal range data from the Atlas of UK Marine Renewable Energy Resources (ABPmer, 2008) and bathymetry data from the OceanWise Marine Themes Digital Elevation Model (DEM) (Oceanwise, 2014).
